Send Root Cause Detections to OpsRamp as Incidents
- Automatically sends an Root Cause Reports to OpsRamp when a Zebrium Incident is auto-detected so that the appropriate team is notified.
Integration Overview
- Add the Zebrium Integration to OpsRamp
- Create an OpsRamp Integration in Zebrium to Send Root Cause Detections to OpsRamp as Incidents
Integration Details
STEP 1: Add the Zebrium Integration to OpsRamp
- Click on the Setup tab and then select Integrations/Integrations from the main navigation panel.
- Click on Other under the Available Integrations section.
- Click on Custom Integration.
- Enter a Name and Description for this integration.
- Set Category to Custom.
- Enter a Logo if desired.
- Click Install
- Set Authentication Type to OAUTH2.
- Set Role to Client Administrator.
- Click Save.
- Copy the Tenant Id and save for later use when configuring the Zebrium Outbound Integration
- Copy the Key and save for later use when configuring the Zebrium Outbound Integration
- Copy the One Time Secret and save for later use when configuring the Zebrium Outbound Integration
- Copy the Access Token URL portion (from https thru token) and save for later use when configuring the Zebrium Outbound Integration
- Copy the Incident Create URL portion (from https thru incidents) and save for later use when configuring the Zebrium Outbound Integration
STEP 2: Create an OpsRamp Integration in Zebrium to Send Root Cause Detections to OpsRamp as Incidents
- From the User menu area in Zebrium, click on the Settings (hamburger) Menu.
- Select Integrations.
- Scroll to the Incident Management section and click on OpsRamp.
- Click on the Create a New Integration button.
- Click on the General tab.
- Enter an Integration Name for this integration.
- Select the Deployment for the integration.
- Select the Service Group(s) for the integration.
- Click on the Send Detections tab.
- Click on the Enabled button.
- Enter the Access Token URL that was saved from STEP 1.
- Enter the Incident Create URL that was saved from STEP 1.
- Enter the Tenant Id that was saved from STEP 1.
- Enter the API Key that was saved from STEP 1.
- Enter the API Secret that was saved from STEP 1.
- Click the Save button.
